Join us for an unforgettable weekend in sunshine-y San Diego, California as we celebrate and honor our Banks-Sharpe history, and bridge connections across generations. Getting There
By Air
The two nearest major airports are San Diego International Airport (SAN) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). SAN is the most convenient, located just minutes from downtown San Diego. If you're flying into LAX, expect about a two-hour drive south, depending on traffic. Both airports offer a variety of rental car services, shuttles, and rideshare options to help you reach the reunion with ease.
By Train
For a scenic and stress-free journey, consider taking the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, which runs along the beautiful California coast. The train stops at multiple stations in San Diego County, including Oceanside, Solana Beach, Old Town, and Downtown San Diego. From there, you can use rideshare services, taxis, or rental cars to reach the reunion location.
By Car
If you're driving, several major freeways provide easy access to the area:
I-5 runs north-south along the coast, connecting Los Angeles to San Diego.
I-805 is a parallel route to I-5, offering an alternative path through central San Diego.
I-15 is the main inland route, perfect for those coming from Riverside, Las Vegas, or beyond.
I-8 runs east-west, making it the best option for guests traveling from Arizona.

Join us for a pre-game tailgate starting at 5:00 PM, where you can enjoy food, drinks, and great company before the first pitch! Awesome views of the big screen showing the game. Carpooling (4 per vehicle) is recommended!
Tailgating Details:
Tailgate behind your vehicle—bring your chairs, food, and fun!
No glass containers or kegs; gas grills only.
Alcohol must be put away 30 minutes after the first pitch.
Tailgate spots are $48.50 per car/spot (no reserving or saving spaces).
